My husband and brother in law won’t try my favorite quick and easy meal despite them both loving tacos of all kinds!
They say the thought of using sausage for taco meat weirds them out. I’m just a big fan of this sausage and it’s much cheaper than steak. Meaty with the fresh and crispy salsa,
I could eat these everyday!
What do you guys think, would you try my “sausage tacos”?

I used to buy pork breakfast sausage and i did chorizo breakfast tacos. You might try with egg, breakfast style, ur pals might try that too..or not

Chorizo con papas is my current #1 ranked taco and honestly my entire family and it’s not priced based. We have carne asada, pollo asado, fish tacos, carnitas, etc. Chorizo will be your friend.

To each his own. You are not going for a traditional taco in any case so who cares? You do you. AND for what it’s worth Chorizo would be considered a form of mexican sausage and would not be out of place in a traditional taco. Mostly it is chopped up with the steak but you can order a chorizo only taco. Not weird

There are no rules when it comes to tacos.
So, we may be kindred spirits. I really, really like leftover meat tacos. I change up the fixings to keep it fresh but tacos are one of the best package meals.
While I love lengua and tripitas, breakfast sausages are less hardcore than those.
Besides, breakfast burritos commonly have sausages in them, so it’s not too farfetched.
Not at all. I’ll throw anything in a taco. I’d honestly be down to do this with melty nacho cheese and grilled onions.

Not exactly the same, but in my hometown San Antonio we do what we call country sausage and egg tacos on flour tortillas. It’s basically Eckrich sausage and eggs.

In northern Mexico they usually have sausages for the carne asada.
If it’s in a tortilla it’s a taco. I have some Mexican cousins that eat mayo tacos sometimes.

And I won’t say you’re crazy for this, because tons of people do it, but I have never understood corn in tacos.
No. It’s not a typical taco filling, but if you like it then it’s good. Personally, I would make breakfast tacos like this but with eggs added.
